I admit I grew up in a house with wallcovering and that fuels my obsession. I loved it and then I tired of it and then I loved it again. Today when I say wallcovering I am surprised at the resistance I get. Wallcovering is fabulous and there are no rules anymore. I love using wallcovering in baths especially powder baths. I love using wallcovering as a detail on a ceiling and I love to line the back of a cabinet with a grasscloth or textural print. Wallcovering adds a layer of detail that you cannot get from paint.

Pyne Hollyhock in charcoal. A romantic floral with gray, cream, black and taupe beautifully entwined. Founded in 1889 the company is a 5th generation family business.

Farrow and Ball

Rosslyn BP 1938 This paper is beautiful in all of the colors. Farrow and Ball is known for their rich paint colors and they translate the same integrity to their wallcoverings. This pattern also incorporates gold which is so popular. This England based company made their first wallcoverings in 1995 but prior to that supplied paint to Ford Motors.

Eskayal

A person favorite of mine, (yes I’ve ordered it for my own home). Their wallcoverings range from subtle to bold with patterns that hint of tie dye as each pattern is based on a hand painted design. Established in 2008 they give 1% of all their sales back to

Anna French

Margate in Multi on Mylar. Anna French designs are the perfect for a transitional home. I love this pattern and it is available in a warm gold cream and gray colorway as well. Pink is on trend and a personal favorite accent color right now. Probably responsible for this pattern catching my eye.
